Meet The GULLIBLE Artist: Marblehead
Hello, please introduce yourself and tell us a bit about yourself!
My name is Marleigh and I’m a queer illustrator from south east London! I’m a big lover of colour and it shows in my work.
What is your creative process? How did you create your piece/s for GULLIBLE?
I mainly work with digital illustration and it starts out as a rough sketch on a bit of paper, which I then transfer to my iPad and neaten up.
What or who is your biggest creative influences?
My biggest influences are my day to day life, I'm vegan also so a lot of my work is plants, vegetables or things about being queer! Also pop art is my favourite art style and I love drawing everyday items like beans and other recognisable products
If you weren’t a creative, what would your ideal job be?
If I wasn’t a creative I’d want to be a creative haha or work in B&Q because it’s the best!
GULLS…love them, hate them, terrified of them..?!
I think I understand seagulls because I love food just as much as they do, if I could get away with stealing food I would too 😂
