About the Artist:

Mari is a Sussex artist and printmaker.

She creates distinctive and striking artworks, using water-based ink markers. Her original drawings are reinterpreted as iPad paintings and as hand-printed screen prints.

Mari makes vibrant floral images and bold, quirky illustrations of birds and animals. She also loves to draw portraits. Mari readily captures the essence of her subjects and represents them in a unique, joyful and often amusing way.

As a learning disabled and autistic woman, making art is a fundamental aspect of her life and identity. Her skills are nurtured and celebrated by Worthing’s The Sand Project, Superstar Arts and her screen print mentor, Jo Telling.
