About the Artist:
Bev is a Manchester based collage artist, who has been exploring the craft for close to ten years now. Specialising in weird and whimsy, usually with a few cats thrown in for good measure.
Inspired by dreams, music and nature, she uses recycled vintage magazines and ephemera to create new worlds, bringing in a sense of familiar nostalgia, with an undercurrent of ‘hang on, that’s not supposed to be there’. The world doesn’t make sense after all, so why should art?
